Beta email allowlist

Add an email address to the Beta signup allowlist. New accounts can only be created with these emails while the site is in Beta mode. (Ignored in Test or Live mode.)

Fraud controls

Caps that limit chargeback / bust-out exposure on listings, enforced when a listing is created. Set any field to 0 to disable that limit. (Card-fraud screening lives in Stripe Radar; seller payout holds are set in Stripe.)

Listing settings

How long a sale or gift listing stays live before it expires (and how far a Renew pushes it out). Rentals and borrows never expire.

Account maintenance

Suspend a suspected-fraud account to stop all activity immediately — they can't sign in or do anything and are told to contact support@buyrentborrow.com. Reactivate reverses it.

Two-factor authentication

Protect your admin account with an authenticator app (TOTP — Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, etc.). Strongly recommended.

Image moderation

Photos (both item and service listings) flagged as borderline by automated moderation are held (hidden from public view) until you review them. Approve publishes the image; Reject deletes it. Clear violations never reach this queue (blocked at upload for items; dropped for service photos).

Checking…

Reset a user's password

Set a new password for any account by UserID or email — handy for recovering a test account. The user is not emailed; share the new password with them directly.

Service listing fees

What users pay to post a service or a job / employment listing (charged once, or per month if they choose auto-renew). Applies to new listings only — existing listings and active subscriptions keep their original price.

New accounts

Accounts created in a date range, with the signup IP and ZIP. Rows sharing an IP are highlighted — a burst of look-alike usernames from one IP in the same minute is a classic fraud signal.

New listings

Items and services listed in a date range — one row each. A high per-user count (highlighted) can mean spam/flood posting.
